Spa Etiquette
Betty’s Bath & Day Spa is a Healing, Wellness, & Relaxation haven. We have put together some tips to help you maximize your overall experience at Betty’s whether it is your first time or you are a seasoned Bettyite, so WELCOME !
Accoutrements We provide a robe, sandals, lock & key as you transition into the quiet tranquility of Betty’s. We have shower gel, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, and blow dryers in the locker rooms. If you need a comb or other personal toiletries, please bring them along.
Cell Phones Please turn off your cell phone to ensure a quiet and tranquil atmosphere for yourself as well as other clients.
The Betty’s Experience We ask that you arrive approximately 15 minutes before your treatment to allow for an easy transition from the hurry & bustle of life into your relaxation & enjoyment of all aspects of Betty’s. Hydration is an important aspect of wellness. While at Betty’s we offer filtered water, and de-caffeinated herbal tea to maintain the proper level of hydration throughout your Blissful experience.
Attire Wear whatever you wish to Betty’s to feel relaxed and comfortable. Upon arrival you will receive a robe, sandals, lock & locker key. For your treatment, you should undress to your comfort level, which may include wearing your undergarments. Most importantly, you should feel safe and comfortable during your time at Betty’s. Throughout your treatment, our therapists drape you with sheets and blankets to provide you with privacy at all times. For the hot tubs, suits are required during Co-Ed communal time in the West Tub. The East Tub is for women only, bathing suits are optional. Private Tubs are available by reservation and suits are optional during the use of the private tub.
Tips for Waxing Do not shave or wax for at least 2 – 3 weeks prior to your treatment. A ¼ inch hair growth is optimal for a successful waxing for the bikini, leg, and underarm areas.
Safety/Health Check with your health care professional should you question the use of hot tubs, saunas or body treatments at Betty’s.
Reservations & Cancellations We accept reservations up to 6 months in advance. To ensure that you receive your optimal choice in time, therapist & day, please call us as soon as you know your availability to schedule an appointment. We do accept same day appointments as availability allows. To hold a reservation, we ask that you provide us a valid credit card number with expiration date or current gift certificate number. Your card will not be billed unless we fail to receive a 24 hour cancellation notice after the reservation has been made. If you must cancel your treatment, please be sure to give us 24-hour notice; otherwise, you will be charged full price for the treatment.
Gratuity If you would like to show your appreciation for the quality of service provided by your therapist or esthetician we provide tip envelopes at the front desk. We ask that tips are left as either cash or separate check for the therapist or esthetician. An average tip is between 10% - 20% of the treatment price.
Payment Options Betty’s accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Cash and Personal Checks with current information. For gratuity options, we can not add to the credit card purchase, we ask that you use cash or personal check.
